Ray that is inherited

Three X-LAY, the multirole attacker which is equipped with CYBERNETICS LINK SYSTEM=C.L.S., is manufactured but one of them was self-destructed by the pilot who fell into psychotic abnormality―.

After the flight training of X-LAY, at a corner of the laboratory space ship, a young man wearing a green pilot suit had a break while standing, and was looking at the universe from the large window.
Then, child's voice called him from behind.
"Hi, guy!"
He looked behind and found there was a small girl of about 10 years old, with a smile looking up at him.
(Why is such girl, in this military restricted area...!?)
A female officer came from behind of the girl gave the answer to his question.
"Excuse me, I've heard that she is a granddaughter of some person at the upper echelons, and she asked to meet you absolutely―"
The girl said to the officer modestly.
"I want to talk alone with him..."
The officer was confused, but the young man said to the officer, "No problem".
He asked the officer to go back, and turned to face the girl.
Then suddenly he felt strong deja vu with her eyes staring him. Her emerald colored eyes shining brilliantly seemed familiar to him ever since a long time ago. Had never seen her before...why?
The girl took a deep breath, and began talking to him.
"...I was born blind. It was said that there was no way to be able to see but eye transplant―then, thanks to my grandfather, I got...your eyes. So all anyhow I wanted to meet you and say thanks...!"
Indeed, the young man was convinced. It was a mysterious landscape, the eyes which he had ever owned were looking at himself. Human body, that couldn’t bear up under the acceleration force of X-LAY and was abandoned to adapt himself for C.L.S., was also usable for organ transplants...he strangely admired.
The girl's hands wrapped hands of young man gently.
"You are a cyborg. Is it a machine? These hands...and also those eyes?"
"Yes...without brain and spinal cord" He answered a little ruefully.
The girl continued talking as if comforting a young man with her whole body.
"Very sorry, as if I took your human body...! But, I was really happy to be able to see. When I opened my eyelids, the ray came in, and I was wrapped in light. I'll never forget that delight, for my whole life...!!"
A word "RAY" strongly impressed the young man.

The young man lifted the girl in his arms with real delight. After she left there with the officer, he stood still for a while in the place with warm heart.
...He could give "RAY" to her, but he would have to give ray to all human race. For this purpose, he was repeating the flight training with an attacker, its codename is "RAYFORCE".
Putting the hand on his heart, closing the eyes, the young man thought alone.

But, too much mechanized body gradually robbed him of the identity of "Human". Connecting with machines by C.L.S. was disrupting his ego.

Eight beam casted from beam cannons drew the red arcs and pierced green X-LAY―the attacker caused a huge explosion, and was blown to smithereens...
At that moment, from the eyes of the girl who was talking with her friend, teardrops spilled suddenly.
"What's up!?"
The friend asked quickly,
"I don't know―I'm not sad, but I can't stop my tears... ...Why?"
She answered and looked up at the sky, her emerald colored eyes kept on shining clearly with tears.
